Rondo del Valle is a Mexican winery that was born from the vision of a family from Ensenada, Baja California, to venture into the wine culture. In 1978, the owner family arrived in Valle de Guadalupe, which at that time had few locals and few services; the area was a place of relaxation.
The owner of Rondo del Valle developed a great love and admiration for the land he lived in; thus, when he formed his own family and transmitted those feelings to them, the dream of the winery was born in 2010, choosing the name "Rondo del Valle", based on the concept of "rondo", which is a musical form whose main theme is repeated in different shades; like life itself, which resembles cycles, where the origin and the end and unrepeatable forms are conjugated, like our wines.
Therefore, Rondo del Valle's vision is: at the beginning of a cycle, to keep our roots in mind, to apply the acquired experience and take advantage of the opportunities, so that, when celebrating the end of each cycle and after sharing our successes, we start a new one, with the certainty that, even if it is different, it will keep our essence.
The project began in a first phase with the subway cellar, personally attended by the family and over the years and thanks to the affluence of those who have honored us with their visit, we have expanded our facilities and today we have:
- Underground cellar
- Barrel room
- Tasting room
Reflect the pride and rootedness for this land.
- Travesí: in reference to the fact that life is a journey full of struggle and passion.
- Cautivo: the captive of the Valle de Guadalupe.
- Morador: to be dwellers of this majestic land.
Rondo del Valle wines are made with the red grapes Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petite Sirah, Mouvedre and Malbec, forming exquisite assemblages; we also produce white and rosé wine, both with balanced acidity and nuances worthy of highlighting in each vintage, all under constant supervision of our winemaker and trained staff. Years of hard work have resulted in a winery that offers its visitors unique experiences.
